Built by a chemical trader who got tired of paying by the document.
ChemDocs started as an internal tool. We trade chemicals — copper sulphate, copper oxide, copper carbonate, silver nitrate — and every one of those products needs a Safety Data Sheet and a GHS label before it can legally ship.
The usual options were a consultant billing per document, reusing an old SDS and hoping the classification hadn't changed, or — for the smallest traders — no proper document at all. None of those are good enough when the document exists to communicate real hazard information to the people handling the product.
So we built the tool we needed: a database of real, sourced hazard classifications, a genuine implementation of the GHS mixture-classification rules, and a document generator that fills in the regulatory template correctly instead of guessing. We used our own lab data — FTIR and SGS reports — to cross-check the first entries in the database, because we had to trust the output ourselves before shipping it to anyone else.
ChemDocs is for the businesses the big EHS platforms don't bother with — traders and small manufacturers who need a handful of correct documents a year, not an enterprise compliance suite.
