Cookie Policy
Last updated September 11, 2026
This is a placeholder policy for early access. It is not legal advice — have counsel review it against your actual tracking practices and applicable law (e.g. ePrivacy, GDPR, CCPA) before relying on it in production.
What we use
ChemDocs uses browser localStorage, not cookies, to keep you signed in — your session token is stored locally and sent with each request to the API. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Strictly necessary storage
Your authentication token and light UI preferences (like a collapsed sidebar state) are stored locally in your browser. This is required for the product to function and isn't optional.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics to understand aggregate product usage (e.g. which pages are visited). This does not identify you individually and can't be used to track you across other sites.
Your choices
Clearing your browser's local storage will sign you out. Since we don't use tracking cookies, there is no cookie consent banner to manage.
